In other news, it seem that the original "NieR" game for the Xbox 360 might get an HD remastered version soon.
"NieR Automata" game producer Yosuke Saito told Express that if the sequel sells well in the market, then there is a chance that the first "NieR" game could get remastered.
However, Saito and Square Enix currently has no plans for the original "NieR" to be remastered for now, but gaming fans will be excited to see the game get an HD remaster treatment and hopefully be ported to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Unfortunately, there was no comment on Xbox One backwards compatibility for the original "NieR", despite 4,500 people voting for an Xbox One update. This could present a problem for Xbox users since Square Enix and Saito stated before that there are still no plans for "NieR: Automata" in the Xbox One.
"NieR: Automata" is currently available in Japan, while the game will launch on May 7 for the PS4 in North America, March 10 for the PAL region and March 17 in the PC.
