The rumors on Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with curved screen have been circulating in the mobile device industry over the past few weeks, and still remained speculations as of this writing. There has not been any confirmation or denial from the concerned company about these speculations.
GSMArena stated that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 might come in a dual-edge display, with a 5.7 inches measurement comparable to its previous model, QHD resolution and possible 3D touch pressure sensitive potentiality to spice up its specs a little bit.
When it comes to Xiaomi Mi Note 2 technical features, it is speculated to possibly use Snapdragon 820 or maybe Snapdragon 823 chipset with RAM of either 4GB or 6GB. The device's storage may include 32/64/128GB or could even go up to 256GB editions to be released in the near future. As to camera specs, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is said to have Sony IMX298 sensor with OIS in 16MP and said to have fast charging capability with its 3600 mAH battery which may permit its charger to supply up to 18watts.
It seems like Samsung can no longer monopolize the curved screen platform because of the latest flagships that several competing companies are releasing nowadays. Some of the companies that are said to be launching curved screen devices and most likely 3D touch feature are Vivo, Huawei, Oppo, Meizu and HTC. Although other companies have not yet announced specific devices that will come in curved screen, Vivo has already presented Xplay5 Elite as their flagship with Samsung-made dual-edge curved screen. This Vivo device comes with a 5.43 inch Super AMOLED display and 1440x2560 pixel resolution QHD.
It was also reported subsequently that Huawei and Xiaomi both requested for Samsung display curved screen samples. This rumored request started all the speculations that these two Chinese companies are planning to release mobile devices with the same technology as Samsung. This technology can possibly be applied to these companies' forthcoming launches for 2016 added by Gadgets NDTV.
All these exciting and enticing rumored specs of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 phablet is yet to be believed until confirmation from its manufacturer is released. Since none of these speculations has yet to be proven, enthusiasts should probably hold off their emotions until further notice.
