Guerrilla Games recently delighted fans with its announcement about "Horizon: Zero Dawn" not having microtransactions. Now, the publisher has thrown in another surprise by revealing that the game will feature a photo mode for taking pictures in-game.
The announcement was made via the Guerrilla Games official Twitter account. The publisher flaunted some of the possible shots taken via the feature. According to Game Rant, the photos featured Aloy, the "Horizon: Zero Dawn" lead character, in various areas of the game. One photo shows her riding one of the robotic animals in the game.

The developer did not provide any more information about the game's photo mode feature. There are speculations that the additional feature might include some of the mechanics found in "Uncharted 4." The first-party PS4 game allows gamers to adjust depth of field, lighting, and filters when taking in-game photos. Some players guess that the camera can be controlled to move around while the in-game models are suspended in action.
Meanwhile, Guerilla Games recently announced that the game has gone gold. The team behind the game posted a photo celebrating their achievement with some champagne. Gamespot also reported that the game's full skill tree was revealed by the publisher. It is divided into three sections called Prowler, Brave, and Forager. The Prowler skill tree holds abilities related to stealth, Brave centers on accuracy, damage, and overall combat, while Forager enhances resource gathering and health.
"Horizon: Zero Dawn" was originally scheduled for release in 2016. Guerilla Games has, however, delayed it to February 28, 2017. The game is one of the few titles that is expected to shine on the PS4 Pro. A Gamespot article elaborates all the finer details about the game running on Sony's upgraded PS4.
