The 2018 Lexus LC was one of the best cars to be highlighted at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. To build more interest in this luxury car, Lexus has announced that it is dropping the price of the 2018 LC 500 down to less than $100,000.
The base model of the 2018 Lexus LC 500 starts at $92,975. This model has a 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of outputting up to 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet worth of torque. All this power is delivered through a 10-speed automatic transmission drivetrain.
On the other hand, the base model of the more eco-friendly 2018 Lexus LC 500h starts at $97,485. Under the hood, the car has a 3.5-liter V6 engine, an electric motor, and a battery pack all working together to produce 354 horsepower worth of power, according to Motor1. The car is has a unique combination of hybrid-style E-CVT and torque converter automatic transmission.
On top of these base models, interested buyers can also opt in to add a handful of upgrades. The Touring Package includes a 20-inch forged wheels set, a glass roof, upgraded seats, and a Mark Levinson audio system. The Touring Package costs an additional $4,000 for the LC 500 and $2,790 for the LC 500h model.
Another optional upgrade is the Sport Package with Glass which has the same set of upgrades as the Touring Package but includes an Alcantara sport seats instead. According to Motor Authority, this package will cost $4,000 for the LC 500 model, and $2,400 for the LC 500h model.
On top of the upgrades list is the Performance Package with Carbon. As the name implies, this package consists of carbon fiber-finished components. It has a carbon fiber reinforced plastic for the rook and carbon fiber sills. It also includes active rear steering feature and an active rear spoiler. This package costs an additional $10,000 for the LC 500 model and $8,790 for the LC 500h model.
